  • A Proposed SACA Budget for 2023-2024 was also presented and reviewed by attendees and no vote or budget was/is established for the current fiscal year end 31MAR2024 as no quorum attended the meeting to establish a vote per current by-laws.
  • A copy will be attached to distribute, available by contacting Kathie Brown, Treasurer and they will
  • get uploaded as mentioned above.

New Business
  • Regarding garbage and enforcing refuse, residents must adhere to the city and/or association guidelines, cans should not be visible after refuse day from the street (by laws state should bekept in the garage) –if animals are getting in it, our neighborhood risks increase.
  • Talk about planting trees in the neighborhood possibly getting the city to repopulate/grant
  • Possibility of a pavilion (??) in the common area, as it could be more of a meeting area, exchange of ideas, children safe area, etc.
  • Exchange of lawn services business is encouraged between neighbors as discounts may incur especially if the service is a proprietor (or adjacent to) here in SACA as we have enjoyed for many years with past occupants maintaining lawns.
Old Business
  • By laws distributed changes need 50% to respond, need a quorum of 13 homes to vote (as mentioned above), not present tonight, possibly table it to the picnic and try to vote at that time.
  • The attorney advised the mailings results are not acceptable for the change in by laws $700 fee to survey the property at OL and RC (burm) common area on the south side of RC, to be able to do work in the future (especially for utilities run under RC), survey to get ideas for the entrance at RC and OL will be sent with the dues et al package.
  • Traffic on RC report by Maria G. regarding cut through on RC, per the city contact it was suggested to do count, study has not been conducted yet, a “no thru signage” is a possibility, question is raised do we want to proceed with study
  • Yard sale date will not be scheduled this year
  • Picnic tentative for either AUG 05th or 12th flyer to go out 2 weeks prior
  • Elections officers the same with one addition: Kurt Vaaler, President; in addition, Maria Guido elected as Vice President; Kathie Brown, Treasurer; Dean Wojtowicz, Secretary.
  • Discussion regarding the signage on RC and Power as to the discoloration of the sign, the issue has been raised as to the fading could be due to a number of issues that at this time has not been determined and further study etc. is needed
  • Please keep the area around the neighborhood neat FREE OF LITTER!!!.
  • Please contact the SACA regarding your questions and comments and use the website below for forward emails or call any of the officers and they will be able to direct you or help answer questions you may have in the future.

Other / New Business
  • Suggested a Halloween picnic with chili cook off (another good reason for some neighborly, outdoorsy common/relax/ area “rain or shine?” kind of thing).
  • (THIS IS NOT YELLING, PLEASE JUST CAPS for you to notice) IF THERE ARE ANY MISSING ITEMS OF DISCUSSION PLEASE, OR IF THERE ARE ANY ERRORS HEREIN PLEASE, ADVISE DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY AT THE WEBSITE BELOW PLEASE, AND/OR ATTENTION TO ANY OFFICER THANK YOU.
