Staman Acres Civic Association (SACA) Autumn Meeting Minutes

Held at Orchard Lake & 11 Mile Roads Firehouse Meeting Room where Kurt Vaaler, President, called
the meeting to order about 7:08 PM EDT.

Secretary Report

• The previous meeting minutes were read and approved by residents.
• New Residents/Condolences. None to report except for the vacant home on SCt. was discussed as sold but unconfirmed records were presented and new owner(s) were not present.

Treasurer Report

• The budget and financial statement was presented and provided by Kathie Brown, A copy is attached and will be on the website. Dues; 71 paid, 47 unpaid.

Association Committees and Follow up Business

• Always the SACA seeks & solicits residents needed for committee help and leadership.
• A brief roads history, vote /millage/refund discussion ended with your plot assessment plan dictates past and/or future outcomes, if any.
• Orch. Lk. Entrance south side of RC; 50% of paying due members needed to approve to cut trees/remove on the Jennifer Tyler property, expense co-paid 75% SACA/25% owner (petitions with signatures to be obtained by volunteering residents Susan H & Marcie S).
•  Need quotes to re-plant, remove, etc. to move forward.
•  By-laws to consider; “lose the right to vote if your dues are not paid” making it required, rewrite by laws and have it voted by the paying members, file with Oakland County, and process lien on past due…motion to move forward with by-laws rewrite.

Other/New

• REMEMBER TO PICK UP STREET SIDE YOUR & OUR NEIGHBORHOOD FOR OUR CLEAN LIVING AREAS, (voices of the residents attending tonight, not mentioning specifics).

• The meeting was adjourned at 8:14 PM EDT.
• Fifteen (15) people signed in total attended the meeting.
